Welcome. Grab a cuppa, get comfy and sit down and relax for a while. This is a "no-stress allowed" zone. Here is where I share my many ramblings, my art, my design, and generally the everyday things that occur in my little world. If you stop in this way, please don't feel shy. Say hello, share a story, and generally make yourself at home. It's quite friendly around here.

Crazy house...

That's pretty much sums up this place during the weekend. We cram so much family time in that there is little time for anything else :) Although add to that the fact that our power kept shorting out (still haven't worked out what the problem was, but it hasn't happened again so far this week), meant I haven't been near the computer much to do a blog post.

Miss Scooter had her Grade 1 orientation yesterday. I went along for a look because she begged me to ;) But it was nice to work out where the Gr 1 classrooms were and who the teachers would be next year. All the Preps were so cute sitting down in the Gr 1 classroom doing the activities. Now I just have to sort out her uniform... she needs new shirts, new socks, a new hat (wide brim), and a sports uniform. I think also a swimming bag, and a sport's house shirt (I think she is yellow). Thankfully she still fits her skorts and her shoes are perfectly fine. Sometimes its a blessing to have a slow growing child ;)

Its supposed to be getting to 38'C today. I think I'd be melting if it wasn't for the aircon. A storm is brewing for tonight though I think, some rain would be nice.

In terms of being creative the last few days... I have several projects near completion, but will photograph them later when they are done.

But I finished this digital layout for my All About Me (AAM) album. They are pics of me as a baby in the bassinet on the verandah. They aren't the best pics, but they show off the surrounding area quite well, and its amazing to line up what was there 30 years ago to what is there now. Some things have changed and some things have remained.

Sweet beginnings

I have heaps more photos to scan in and scrap. And hopefully remember the stories to go with them :)
