SYTYCDesign Week #1

Well this week we had to chose one of the given swatches and create a kit. Free reign over everything basically.

It took me a while to choose on of the swatches, then a day to sketch out my ideas (I love my sketch pad) and then aagggeess to do the kit because for some strange and silly reason I decided to make absolutely everything from scratch. Did I mention that I love the little p&s Canon that Mr Mouse bought over the Christmas hols? It is brilliant for a p&s and took great photos so those ribbons in the kit? They're mine. All mine. So's that flower.

Oh and I got the scanner to work (see my twitter... I was rather stoked with that achievement ROFL) so I managed some new paper textures as well :o)

And so here it is... my attempt to stay in the competition past the first week!

Links have now been disabled. Look for the kit in my store in the next week.

It actually took me a long time to come up with the name. But I had this song playing in my head last night and it stuck.

Great kit Donna. I did a LO for you and put it in the gallery. Bright and purple so it can be seen easily among all the pale colours.
